Results/diagnosis - how did you get yours?

Received my results at the follow up appointment.  Think it takes a while to analyse the results.  hope it's good news for you.

I’m afraid no news isn’t necessarily good news with Thyroid Cancer, it’s just your results won’t be in yet. They’ve got to slice and dice your thyroid and that’ll take time. The odds will still be in your favour, but you’ve just got to be patient and let the labs do their work, as if we haven’t waited enough  

I received my results by phone, which wasn’t ideal, as I was in a bit of shock and didn’t get the opportunity to ask questions.

I waited 3 weeks for results but unfortunately was hurtle cell cancer diagnosis, they said there was a delay with the lab. 

Hope you get good news.

Thank you all. Ok, I thought I’d be more likely to receive a phone call quite soon after if it was positive but obviously that’s not necessarily the case. Thanks for your responses & best wishes x
