I’m not sure if this is normal or not. I had my thyroid removed along with 31 lymph nodes on the 8th April and it was healing up nicely. I was occasionally getting bruising on the right hand side of my neck but I presumed that this was internal healing. Over the past few days the end of my scar has become red, puffy and sore. Is this normal or should I contact my GP or surgeon?

I hope you don't mind me replying to you, as I'm not a member of this group, but I noticed that you hadn't had any response to your question.
I'm hoping that your scar is no longer red, puffy and sore but, if it is, then yes it's probably a good idea to speak to your hospital team or GP.
