Hi All, Just been reading back through peoples posts and its interesting to see fatigue and feeling low in some posts. I had papillary thyroid cancer last year, my levothyroxine dosage is now on its 3rd lowering since my op last Dec. I still feel very tired and have no energy, my oncologist says this is normal in some people so please don't worry as it can take up to a year to get your levels right. xxx

  • I'm coming up to 2 years since my ops (Oct + Nov 2017) and still really struggling with energy levels and the levothyroxine dosage keeps getting further and further reduced.

Is it your GP or oncologist that are reducing your dosage ? my oncologist won't let my GP make the decision,  and are you having blood tests to cover all bases  ? x

  • I’ve been discharged from oncologist to endocrinologist. In the last couple of years my FT4 has gone from around 30 to around 13 now with various adjustments in dose (both up and down), but the last 6 months have all been down.
