Hey guys,

I start RAI on Monday and I'm super nervous, to keep my spirits up I'm planning on booking a holiday to Cyprus for December. I just had a look around and some of the quotes I received for travel insurance cost more than my holiday. Can any recommend a travel insurance company that won't cost me a fortune?

Thanks in advance

Annie

Hi, I was having the same issue a few weeks ago. I got a good quote from Towergate, covered alot for me, several other things alongside the history of TC. My cover was worldwide and cost me £80.

    Take care

  • Hey Annie,

Good luck for tomorrow and I hope your bum isn't stinging too badly today!

One thing to consider is, do you need your thyroid cancer covered? Will anything change with it in the week or two that you're away, that will need medical care?

When I go away, I exclude my cancers as they are both stable and I take enough pills for while I'm there and then extra in case I get stuck there. It takes the quotes down from a minimum of £500 to £5!
