Hi
I was wondering if people would like to share which hospital they were treated in and how the experience was?
I was operated on at Ninewells hospital in Dundee by Professor Smith and was very happy with how things went. I am waiting for a follow up meeting for my pathology and CT scan results. The outcome will determine if I need RAI.
Hi,
My first op was in Gartnavel General in Glasgow and 2nd in Queen Elizabeth in Glasgow.
I was operated on both times by Mr Omar Hilmi. Can’t fault anything, he was great and had a brilliant sense of humour which definitely helped! His team were great too and were always on the other end of the phone.
I’ve been handed over now to endocrinology/nuclear medicine now that in Mr Hilmi’s words I have nothing left for him to cut out haha
RAI in December which showed uptake in hip so follow up scan in August to assess whether more treatment needed
