Dwelling

I don’t have a swelling but my jaw aches particularly at night. I am waiting for a scan so hopefully that might explain it

Couple of things.....

Is it pea sized, bigger, or smaller?

How's your saliva? All flowing normally?

Have you got/had a cold, or can you feel one coming on?

It's a swelling ,puffy along the jaw line ,so quite a bit area,but no pain,other side of neck is normal , saliva,if anything is more than normal ,no cold that I know if :)xxx

I'm still alive, so it's a start. Lol

So, from the size it doesn't sound like a lymph node or a salivary gland.

If it's been around more than a week, you should probably get it checked out. However I've no idea if it's a Dr or a Dentist that you need to see about it. I think I'd prob go to the GP myself, and let them tell me if I need a dentist or not.

One of those better safe than sorry moments.

Ive had some jaw issues just on one side too. Mine is sore to touch though.

Went to doctor who told me to go to dentist who told me there is no dental issue....helpful I know!

I think I’m going to mention it when I’m seeing the nuclear medicine consultant tomorrow so will let you know what response I get!

Lol!!!oh bless you ,glad you are still alive!!!:)...ok ..I'll see GP ,if it is still there in a day or 2,I seem to be swelling in all areas lol ..hopefully bloods taken today will confirm it is it isn't arthritis xxx

Hi ,love good luck ,yes please ,I'll check my emails ,no pain as yet ,just spongy lol ...I could of course be developing a double chin on one side lol xx
