Hi everyone back in December I went to see the doctor because i could feel something in my throat when I swallowed. anyway to cut long story short he sent me for a ultrasound scan on my thyroid which revealed to 3 cm nodules on each side of my thyroid the doctor who did the scan said it might be cancerous, anyway I had a biopsy done and it came back Benign I got another phone call to say they want to do the biopsy again because there was an error with it anyway I had the biopsy last Wednesday and it’s been a week now and I am just waiting for the results.the cytologist was there when they did the ultrasound and biopsy and she mentioned I can see follicular cells to the radiologist.
Just wondered if anyone knows how long biopsy results take. The doctor did say he would ring me though
