Now, was the surgery in January 2017, or was it the 17th of January 2019? Either way, you should be healed enough that any coughing isn't going to do you any damage at this point. 

Has your GP given you any antihistamines to help? There's a LOT of pollen in the air at the moment, and a few of my friends are suffering with allergies. So I feel for you!

Surgery was on the 17th of Jan 2019. Yes the GP gave me antihistamines and antibiotic (for 3 days). It was gone for 2 days then she gave me another antihistamine because I told her that I've been coughing again too much but no phlegm coming out and I can't sleep at night because of cough. I am scheduled to meet my Onco Surgeon after 3 more weeks to check on my blood tests but I am afraid that this could not wait anymore.

I too have had TT and a neck dissection left side 20th March 19 not long ago however I caught an infection a stomach bug 6 days after my op so I’ve been sick and bloated it’s been awful  I too was worried I’ve caused damage inside and still am worried.. doctor said nothing to worry about it’s unlikely I’ve caused any damage  easier said than done, my op is still early days however and I’m still recovering from my infection as am I getting better I too have a uncontrollable cough that’s started, I’ve been on antibiotics and had a chest x Ray doctors said my lungs are clear. Has you cough calmed down?
