Hey everyone.
So I’m 4 days removed from an inguinal orchiectomy. Still not sure how to compute everything that’s happened to me in the last few weeks but I’m hoping this place can help me understand it all a bit more :)
Hi MagicBert,
Welcome, and hope you're doing well in the circumstances. There's some good discussion threads on here to have a read through that I've found useful (I had my op in July, just had another CT scan and waiting for Nov oncology apt to talk about what happens next).
All the best,
Jim
Things move really fast don't they. I hope you're recovering ok. It's not an especially complicated surgery. I guess you're waiting for information regarding your situation and any further treatment? The prognosis for this kind of cancer is really good so try not to worry too much.
Best wishes
G
I thought losing the testicle would be the worst thing in the world. Hasn't had a major impacton my life at all. Recovery time is fast for this op, you'll be back up running around in no time.
Hopefully the op and surveillance is all thats needed.
