New here, really worried and my mind cant stop racing, late stage TC possible?

Hi, I'm 25 years old. I'm new here and I'm severely an over thinker.

I went for a check up on my left testicle a couple days ago and the doctor said there is no way to be certain unless we get a scan. He said sometimes it can be a swollen epidermis (excuse my spelling if wrong). Then he followed by we can be certain with a scan so has booked me in for one this week.

I'm on here because I have no one I can talk to and do not want to burden my family or friends I guess...

My question is how likely is a rough edged testicle that feels rough and bigger from the top of the testicle (back side) which stretches right to the bottom but going from top to bottom from behind and above. So to be clear the front face and side(ish) has no lump or rough edges I guess. But everywhere else feels rough and swollen.

Also there is a point where there is a squidgy bit which is felt a bit more and there was 0 pain when touching it.

I'm concerned what is the likelihood of this being late stage testicular cancer? If it is late am I still in a good position?
