Recovering from partial gastrectomy

Hi all,

Recovering from surgery to remove a growth which was blocking the area food leaves the stomach and goes.to the intestines.

Awaiting results after growth removed. Unclear 

as yet if a tumour or gist. Wo during if anyone else has experienced the stress of waiting for results.

  • Hope you are recovering from the surgery, it takes a while for your new ‘plumbing’ to settle down! 
    I had tests before surgery so I knew it was a tumour.  But it’s always stressful until all the pathology is completed and you know the next steps in your treatment.  
    Do you know when you will get the results?
