My dad was supposed to have chemo and radiotherapy but got pneumonia so it had to stop. They said they’ll wait until he’s stronger then give him mild dose of chemo only now - no cure just palliative care.
He’s struggling to comes to terms with his situation and I’m not sure he realises they cannot cure him.
The worrying thing is he’s not keeping water down today and has been vomiting since yesterday but he is being stubborn and doesn’t want to go into hospital and I’m worried he will become dehydrated.
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. You feel so helpless, especially as he is so unwell at the moment. It might be worth phoning the SNS or NHS 111 to get some advice.
Hope you get some help and he feels more comfortable.
