I'm happy to have found this place. I am 6 months out from stopping imatinib treatment for GIST. I was supposed to have been on it for 3 full years, but it had to be cut short by 6 months due to heart issues.
I guess I'm looking for people who are also post-treatment. I'm finding even 6 months out I'm not feeling as well as I thought I would. Fatigue still persists. My blood tests are still off. etc. Wondering what other people have experienced. Is this our new normal? Do the symptoms go away eventually?
