Hi
I'm very much at the beginning of this journey and glad to join this discussion group.
I've had a T3 stomach cancer diagnosis after having had a loss of appetite and some burping.
I've now gone through the endoscopy,CT and PET scan with a laparoscopy due tomorow.
The only things in my control at the minute are to maintain my weight prior and improve my fitness.
Game on!
Welcome to the group! Although not one you want to join! There are lots of lovely people who are at different stages of the treatment journey! I had stomach cancer, five years ago and had chemo and surgery.
The laparoscopy will give the medical team information which will help determine the treatment plan. This is the hardest time as you don’t know what you are dealing with.
Your approach is great as concentrating on things you can control, is the best way!
Do post any questions and hope all goes well tomorrow!
Jac
