Hello Folks, hope you're doing as okay as is possible.  I'm new to the Forum, recently diagnosed with adrenocarcinoma . Laparoscopy and washings have detected cancer cells out with my stomach.  Surgery's not now an option but I've been referred to oncology . Anybody else in a similar situation ? I'm wondering about how difficult the choice of quality Vs quantity of life at the moment.

  • Hi

and a very warm welcome to the online community

It must be a very difficult decision to make whether to choose quality over quantity of life. I haven't been in your position but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where someone who has had to make a similar choice might see it and respond.

You could wait to see what treatment the oncologist is suggesting and ask if you can easily stop if you can't tolerate it before you make any decisions on whether to have treatment or not.

Wishing you all the best with whatever you decide to do.
