H im new to the group. Ive been diagnosed with stomach cancer that has spread to my liver. I am due for a telephone consultation on Wednesday and im hoping it is for a treatment plan. I am struggling to think of questions to ask during the consultation. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi, I have only been recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to my stomach lining and I only had my telephone consultation last Friday. My personal questions were simply the obvious ones such as when will treatment start, any delays. The consultant will undoubtedly direct the consultation but should ask you lots of questions as well about your symptoms. Also don’t be afraid to mention any other symptoms you may have noticed since diagnosis. Hopefully the consultant will refer to your own personal treatment plan and what it entails and when it will start. Mine was very good and I received info in the post today about my treatment plan. Good luck. Am happy to talk anytime.
Adrian
