So my father was diagnosed with gastric cardia cancer in march. He completed 4 rounds flot then total gastrectomy in June ( R0, ypT3N1, 2/42 lymph nodes positive, LVI+, mandard scale 3 which is moderate response to treatment) and now we have one round od the post op 4 flot rounds. So far he is M0. And I can't get rid of this gut feeling that we are not going to beat this. I just know that in the next year or two cancer will be back, and that those are my last months with him. He is only 66. Do you think there's hope with that type of cancer, on that stage? Is here anyone else with similar story?
