After spending the last 6 days with more pain i have had to have another CT scan which has unfortunately shown the cancer and lymph nodes are no longer responding and have unfortunately increased.,however they have not spread to any other sites and still confined to the dtomach and peritoneum so It means now back to square one so another course of treatment will have to be found .. I don't know the long term implications and to be honest I don't think i want to just yet lol
Looks like my pain may be finally coming under control....down to say a short lived discomfort now till I top up ...I think I made a error last night which my be beneficial, I believe I took my slow release morphine Twice about an hour a part, didn't wake up in the night for top up lol although I did sleep till late lol.I may suggest if I can have a higher late dose at night compared to the morning , it did seem to help ...I am seeing the pain management team from the hospice Friday and also my oncologist next week ...it amazing how when the pain eases how it makes everything else feel better..
