I’m 9-10 days post first chemo, had absolutely NO vomiting or loose stools first week and then day 9 it hit me like a tonne of bricks, didn’t have time to take my antisickness because it just came over me all of a sudden :(

I don’t understand why it’s happening in my second week, I thought the second week was like no symptoms and your body’s chance to just have a break. Feeling so sad at the moment it’s just so hard.

Hi Chloe, I’m sorry you’re feeling so unwell, I suppose it affects everyone differently, stay strong, hopefully your body will get used to the treatment and side effects will lessen, you’ve got this xx

That’s what I thought as well, week 2 is about feeling better. What I see so far is the body starts to recover by the end of week two, so can’t count of feeling ok for this whole week. Just hang on there.

Thank you! I feel a lot better today, had some weetabix and toast ️ no issues so far!xxx

Hi, I’m doing ok thanks, on a lot of vitamins as apparently your body can’t retain the nutrients, but on the whole things are better than expected I’ve lost around half a stone but doing everything I can to mitigate this, regularly eating small meals and having snacks in between.

Keep with it mate, you will get there x
