Hi again, I’m after a bit of advice if anyone can help please. My husband had his TG a year ago, he’s now border line on iron, a doctor prescribed Ferrous sulfate 3x daily.On reading NHS site it says if you’ve had stomach or partial removal you may not be able to take them. The doctor who prescribed them isn’t his usual doctor so was wondering if anyone else is taking the same medication. Thanks for reading. Xx

Hi, I’ve not taken them… but I also read about that they are no good with stomach removal something to do with the absorption I think … I would contact the GP and ask for a 2nd opinion if you aren’t sure… or speak to a pharmacist..

Thanks, yes he was going to do that, I also thought to email upper GI nurse, just wanted to make sure if anyone else was taking them before we did that x
