Hi all sorry for lots of posts, my mum had her gastrectomy 10 weeks ago and now it seems food is getting “stuck” in her gullet by her chest, she keeps burping and complains rice with curry or sort of “squishy” food is getting stuck, she can manage soft fruits and a few things easily but Is this something people get post surgery? I don’t think it was this bad before today/yesterday. Last week she was eating crackers and cheese without trouble. Do we need to push for a CT scan or is this normal? Is it due to the join constricting?
