My wife had a gastrectomy in 2018 and she has been having the usual problems with dumping syndrome, bile problems, and certain food intolerances. Overall it has not been too bad of a recovery.
But lately, she has been suffering from belly cramps and nausea in the upper part, roughly where the stomach was, when eating a meal with meat but can eat cheese ok, without nausea. This started about 2 weeks ago and all ct scans are normal. Also got muscle ache and flu-like symptoms and muscle pain without coughing or a runny blocked/nose.
Anybody else experienced this?
I am sorry to hear about your wife and this recent setback. I would seek advice from the medical team who will be organising her regular check ups. It’s always worrying when you get aches or pains but always better to get it checked! It may be nothing to worry about!
Good luck!
Jac
