My husband is on flot chemo before having surgery to remove his whole stomach. Will he have the same chemo after surgery ? Also how long after surgery will he have it. Thanks for any help
Hi, my operation (24 th April) was about 6weeks after the initial 4 rounds of FLOT chemo, I then had a further 4 rounds of FLOT which started at the beginning of June.
Hi, I was on water for 48 hours then I moved onto soup, I prepared a lot of small portions of soft foods and froze them for when I was discharged, eating every 2-3 hours, since then I have built up to quite a normal diet now and having snacks in between. I found it trial and error to begin with and sometimes even now something will disagree with the new plumbing. Happy to answer any questions if I can, good luck
