My BCC was recently removed from my lower eyelid and it started when a small lump appeared. My initial response was that it was a stye. Looking back now I should have gone to the doctors earlier. I would urge anyone finding a lump wherever it is to go straight away to get it checked out and diagnosed. My first operation was under local anaesthetic. Lovely staff helped. I lay on the bed in theater and had a few drops put into my eyes. The first drops stung but the next few were better. A contact lens was placed in my eye without any pain. I closed my eyes and the anaesthetic was put in below my eyelid. Margins were drawn in which is where they cut away the lump and a safe amount more to take away the cancer with certainty. The whole procedure lasted less than a hour and then I was bandaged up. A week later I went back for a skin graft operation from my left ear area. I will post the next stage soon but if anyone has any questions please dont hesitate to reply. Im more than happy to help. Kind regards, Ammon.
