I recently went through 2 surgeries in a week to remove BCC from my eyelid. I have a 3rd operation coming up in 2 weeks. My eyelid has been sewn shut and this makes it difficult. I can't go out for too long as my confidence is really low at times. It oozes everyday and I need to clean my eye area 3 times a day. One night it unexpectedly bled like a nose bleed. The recovery is harder than I thought. Im not rushing back to work. When will it bleed again I dont know? Stressful but I take each day as it comes .
Hi Ammon
It sounds like you're going through a really tough time right now. I've had a couple of BCCs removed but not from the same area as you but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Such kind words and helpful. Thank you for your reply Latchbrook. I'll put a new post up soon. Ammon.
