I have been reading your journey and you have been through "the mill" quite a bit and I hope it turns out to be nothing. Hi Midnght22, saw your post and wondered how you were doing? 

Hi I had the call this week to say it was a benign lesion. It was a bit tender at first and couldn’t really wear much but open toe sandals but healing nicely now. I have the odd twinge, they only removed around 1/3 of the mail from the left edge not the whole nail. Thanks for asking x
