I'm sorry to read that you're struggling using Aldara over these last couple of weeks.

The Community Guidelines don't allow us to offer medical advice in case we give wrong advice. The best thing to do, would be to speak to the person who's prescribed this cream to you to ask what you should do.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. Good to hear from you. So pleased you have almost finished your treatment. I know we are all different but my nose recovered quickly after I finished the course. I do have a scar because it was an incomplete excision with an infection but even that has improved and is barely noticeable now. Hopefully your struggles over the last couple of weeks means the cream has done its job.  Enjoy your weddings.

Thanks for replying to my post.  So glad your nose recovered quickly - am hoping mine will do the same. 

I think I was extremely lucky as I was quite nervous about the side effects of this cream but I had none of the flu like symptoms which I wasn't looking forward to.  In fact I only had one day when I had a bit of a headache.  The part I have been struggling with the past two weeks is looking a bit of a mess with my red scabby nose but hopefully like you said the cream has done its job!

Hopefully by the time I have to go to the weddings (5 weeks away) I will look more presentable!
