Hi
Ive been referred to a Dermatologist for a possible SCC. One on my knee that’s a few months old but disappeared. Very faint now but where it was it is pink when I come out the shower. And a new one which is in that crusty stage. So it’s all new to me, I’m uptight and my mind has led me down some very dark roads.
Not sure what to think so would like to hear about others experiences of their journey before, during and after diagnosis.
Thanks
WW
Hi, my mom has SCC in her head and surface of skull, she is 80 yrs old and has just had big operation to remove it and a large skin graft. All types of cancer are horrendous no matter how small. You will get through this , if ever you need to talk i am here for you
Mom was diagnosed October after a spot on her head kept getting bigger then scabbed over, her operation was 5th January so it was really speedy how they dealt with her. Mom did have a few dark days at her age she didn't see the point in being treated but with support she got thru this. We have to go to hospital once a week still for dressings to be changed . Be strong
What a trooper Thank you for sharing your story.️
Taking each step as it comes. Early days yet but mind is racing a bit.
Thanks
