Bcc on nose

Hi everyone

I am new to this group. I have just been diagnosed with bcc side of my nose. I have had it for about 9 months now which i thought was just a spot. I am now to wait for surgery. I am scared if it has spread to the bone of nose. My thoughts are all over the place. I am worried sick. I am 36 years old. Does anyone have any advice on same situation as me?

How was surgery?

Did it leave scar?

Did they have to cut across face or was it small cut?

Could it spread to bone after 8 months?

Hi Harlyn

Thank you very much for the information, I will look into that sun cream. My stitches are dissolvable, so not sure how long would it take dissolve. I have the feeling that I would have a black scab as I can see dry blood.
if they don’t take the bandage, I have to take it next Tuesday and I am a little scared to do that.
i am now afraid that everything I touch in my face could it be a possible BCC.
it is true what they said, you really don’t know what it is until it happens to you.

i tried the NHS, but received a letter with possible 25 weeks waiting list, but I did not wanted to wait and went for private.

I hope you don’t wait too long
