Hi this site has been my life line during my basal cell cancer journey. Now my husband has been diagnosed with a Cutaneous horn on his cheek. We see my Consultant a week on Friday as they can be malignant. Has anyone else had one of these and if so what was your treatment please. Thank you z
Hi Harlyn
I have a friend who had one.
It was just excised with a margin of skin on an outpatient appointment and then sent to pathologyvto check for cancer. It was benign.
He said it was an easy process for him and no skin flaps or grafts were used and it healed up quickly.
I can't remember if it was sutured or left to heal
Just a thought Harlyn. I expect you've thought of this already so apologies if you have.
I did think of this too will see how it goes. He may ask how I am doing (hopefully) xx
I'm sure he will do and hopefully he'll be able to put your mind at rest
