Hello can I ask what did yours look like ? I’m concerned about a possible Scc on leg that gp is not concerned about.

Hi Anon85.  I have had 2 basal cell cancers on my face and had them removed.  If you are still worried I would go back to your gp.  If you read comments on this site a lot of us say that gp's are not too good at diagnosing skin cancers. I was lucky my gp was on the ball, but a lot of people have been left with their gp saying it is nothing to worry about and then later being diagnosed with skin cancet.  Trust your own instinct.  Both of mine were on my face and looked completely different to each other.  One was a scab that wouldn't heal and another looked like a cold sore type thing.  Good luck and please feel free to ask any questions.

I've recently had a basal cell cancer removed from my face which my gp wasn't concerned about. She only referred me because I said it was changing form.

It turned out to be a basal cell. In my experience GPs dont have the knowledge if an experienced dermatologist.

If it doesn't feel right get it checked and ask for a referral 

And of course your up could well be right but the only way you'll know for sure is to get the area checked by an expert. That will also give you peace of mind 

Hi Anon85 sorry for late reply been recovering from surgery and covid. It started like a insect bite, then after about 2 months looked more like a veruca, wart . I see if I can add a picture not very techno lol x

That was my  concern also. I went back to ask for a dermatology referral. I saw another doctor regarding something else and she also thought they are benign but no one can give an actual clear answer of what they are. X
