Are there treatment options given? Do you have to accept treatment offered. How young is young considered if Prostate cancer diagnosed. Anyone here just over 50? What is your experience at the early diagnosis stage?
Yes there are many treatment options depending on your diagnosis. The main ones being surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
No you don't have accept any treatment the choice is entirely yours to make.
50 is considered young because you may have a life expectancy of thirty or more years which can be a factor with radiotherapy.
