Hi. I am newly diagnosed with advanced metastatic postate cancer. It has spread to my peritoneum with multiple inoperable nodules. They didn't do a gleeson score and I don't know my life expectancy with or without treatment. They want me to begin hormone treatment - 3 monthly injections + hormone tablets. I worry that the side effects will reduce my quality if life, but my wife is 14 years younger and wants more time together.
Hi Eddie,
You really seem to be going through a rough time. Glad you are getting treatment hopefully you will feel better and pain free now you are getting treated.
Just an update about Len. We have received this information on my chart this morning.
PSA 35
DRE T3
Biopsies grade group 2, (5/11 sites)
CT and bone scan negative
Cambridge prognostic group 5.
Gleeson 3+4
High post void residuals
We now have someone that we can contact at the hospital anytime we need to ask any questions. That is so helpful.
We will be glad to get this MRI scan over with on Monday, we can then move forward with treatment.
you take Eddie talk soon
Jan
