I trust your Radiotherapy has gone well and that all is going well on your own journey.

To enable us to help you are you able to add some details of your journey to date to your profile (initial PSA - Gleason Score and TNM stage). To do this on your home page click on the chair top right, then "profile" and then "edit". once you have written something don't forget to click on "save" (You can read my journey by clicking on my name or avatar).

Feel free to ask any questions, however trivial and to join in any conversations.

    best wishes - Brian.

  • Hello Phil A C,

It's a strange feeling at the start of RT as it seems as if they will drag on, but once into the daily routine it's surprising how time flies & before you know it they have finished.

It will seem a bit odd at first not having the rigour of daily treatment but life will now regain more normality & you can look ahead more positively.  Good that the side effects have only affected you moderately & here's hoping they soon start to improve.

    Best Wishes

    Brian

  • Thanks Brian, I agree the rigours of daily treatment was for me a slight panic each day tt get there on time and prepare. I managed my water intake well before each session, only having to empty a bit on a couple of occassions. I also prpared with firness, weight lifting to keep my bone density up and pool exercises three times a week. I think that has all helped withreducing the side effects.

Now for some quiet days and not so many early starts!

    Phil
