Hi everyone I'm new to this page so please excuse me if I ramble on, my hubby was diagnosed DLBCL 2 yrs ago, he went into full remission last summer we were absolutely and looking forward to getting back to normal we had just gotten over that when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, so at end of January this year he had his op, he recovered well, no problems etc. He was back for his check up today, his PSA is through the roof so it seems he has cancer somewhere in his body, we are both devastated, so it's back to waiting on scans etc. My head is fit to burst, I'm trying to be very brave for him, but I just want to howl at the moon, he is very matter of fact about everything, so fingers crossed for him for his upcoming battle, thank you for listening to me

Hi Hibbie.
Many thanks it's no problem at all I am very happy in helping & supporting you in away that I can.
Yes I really feel your pain but you must stay positive and upbeat.
The waiting is always the worst part of the whole process but please remember that we are all here for you.
We are happy to hear anything from you as it's always best to get things off your chest.
Keep strong and keep fighting for your husband as that's what he deserves at the end of the day.
Prostate Worrier.
Hi I’m sorry I thought I’d replyed my husband is 72 but fit healthy rides a bike and a walker his been hormones since October but that was tablets he had first injection February his due his next one 16th April thank you for your help
That's brilliant, keep him active. Another important thing is to look after yourself, it is very much a couples disease and you both need to be as fit and healthy as possible. Mentally it can take its toll on both of you but support is available if you need it. Personally we have found that fighting this cancer has brought my husband and myself closer together. It also made us put our house in order with wills etc. as hubbys cancer is terminal but treatable.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
