I can't imagine having 29. Personally I felt the anaesthetic was a complete waste of time. I could have killed the operative when she said I will just take one more to even things up!Scream

Hi Steve yes I'm just the same it was not nice i can still feel it when i think about it now i know why you have a nurse there trying to keep you busy chatting to you hope your results come back ok i got mine last week and was graded a 4 then urologists' got a second opinion and now a 3 i have cancer but its slow going they just need to keep eye on my PSA now if it gets any higher i will have treatment what ever it will be

Hi Chris i do hope things go well for you i did speak to McMillan nurse this week they are a special kind of people they do make you feel better and put your mind at rest which is good i have been graded 4 then been dropped after second opinion it is contained within the gland and slow growing i just have to keep going for blood test to keep eye on my PSA and see how things go its god to chat to others in same position

                                     Take care Graham

  • Chris, hi. If I may, I wonder why you chose brachytherapy over surgery. When you say there are side effects, may I ask what you've been experiencing?

    Thank you.
