Hello everyone. My Dad had prostate cancer 8.5 yrs ago. Had radiotherapy and hormone treatment. Recently PSA 2.5 went up to 22. in 3 months. He's 77. On 26/5/22 had bone scan and MRI . 28/5/22 was to he has appt with his Oncologist on 19/7/22 I would like your opinions please. I'm thinking, because he was contacted within two days of his scans, they have possibly found cancer in his bones??. He hasn't been examined or had any biopsies. I can handle, good bad news. as long as I have an idea what's going on. What do you all think. Honest answers please. Thank you. Look
falward to chatting with you all
Hi Lynda
Gleeson 7 indicates not a particularly aggressive cancer although that was 8 years ago.
I don't think them moving the appointment forward means that much, at least he doesn't have long to wait.
It's impossible to speculate really what is going on, hopefully you'll have a better idea next week.
Hope all goes well
Steve
