Hi
just reaching out as in the early stages of a diagnosis.
its very scary and unknown as never been here before…. Would really appreciate any advice or support.
thank you x
Pleased to meet you. This is the best place for all your questions and hopefully you’ll feel supported and welcomed here.
Theres a profile page if you press on the green spot with the arm chair, for you to anonymously put up a timeline of your history which can be updated any time you like.
Keep away from searching the internet for now. You may only feel worse and more worried. Ask here as many questions as you like and you can expect advice and support from the experienced forum members here ready and able to help.
The waiting is the worst and initial problem, so tell us how we can help.
You are in safe hands.
We all start somewhere sometime and it’s very scary. Whatever age you are you’ll need help from other halves and friends but for now don’t panic about anything. The fact gathering is the first and most important bit. The diagnosis will follow. Your blood tests are integral to the understanding too.
Bit by bit you will be able to understand your new body with all its new qualities especially your head which will keep you safe at all times. Good luck.
Good Afternoon Cs345d56dee
Another welcome to the club you didn't want to join but welcome anyway.
The start of your Prostate journey and the initial tests and meetings is the hardest part of the journey - once you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan things will settle down to the "new normal".
To help us, help you, when you get them can you let us have your PSA results and your Gleason Score and TNM diagnosis once you have had your biopsy.
In the meanwhile we are happy to answer any questions you may have - however trivial you may think they are.
Best wishes - Brian.
