How can you stop worrying about your cancer and what help is there to help you focus .
Suppose depends on your stats GB, if you have a low key affair then fairly easy to manage mentally.
If aggressive /spread Cancer then must admit a lot more difficult but posting on here and getting other people 's thoughts can Def help.
Also u could see a counsellor because they can also help.
So putting your stats on here would start the ball rolling and see what others say

Hi Godbless , sounds like you need to talk.
My cancer followed on closely after my mums death from cancer so I was sort of just mentally carrying on from where she left off.
This is an anonymous forum so give us an account of your pathway to here and what your diagnosis is, your age and what you’ve been through, these can be very helpful for us (your new friends) to understand you better. You can put all this data now, and add to it in the future, on you special profile page, which is a green disc top left of this and all your pages, which has a copy green wingback chair within it.
So that will distract you a while and allow us to give better feedback and advice.
There are many places oof distraction and agencies that are suited to give you help. Millibob might be able to list a few places and groups that could help.

That's a very good question and to be honest, there's no one answer as we are all individuals with our own lives apart from cancer. How do I stop worrying? - I don't worry, I nearly died at the start of my journey, so everyday is a bonus, hence the title of my own thread - Que Sara Sara.
Keeping busy is one way to occupy your mind but having help and things to do can also distract you, so here's a few ideas:
* Do you have a "Maggies" near you - his is a Cancer Support charity where you can just call in for support - link here - Maggies.
* Have you spoken to our Support Line on 0808 808 00 00 (8am to 8pm 7 days a week) - it's a free call and they can help with worry and anxiety,
* How would you like your own "Buddy" to speak to once a week to chat about whatever you wanted to - cancer, football, the price of fish - anything - again link here - Macmillan Buddies.
* How about joining a "men's group - here's 2 with the links - Men's Sheds - Men's Sheds or Andy's Man Club - Andy's Man Club.
* If you have some spare time how about volunteering for a local charity or at your local hospital or even Macmillan - link here How to volunteer for Macmillan.
* If the worrying about your cancer is starting to get on top of your day to day activities do have a word with your GP.
