My husband was diagnosed 10years ago with a PSA reading of 1680.Its now less than 1 but he’s having pains in back, neck and arm. What happens to the cancer already detected in his bones even though he’s supposed to be in remission?

  • Firstly I’m sorry you sound so worried and I hope you can recieve the help and support you need quickly. But to do that we might need a little history of you husband in more detail so that there’s a bit more to go on for understanding his condition.

the profile page is above to the left of this page and is a green disc with a sofa chair drawn in it. You can write some details in there. This is anonymous so down feel worried.

i have had cancer in my bones for over tree years and have had several treatments till now. Look at my profile. You can do that, look at someone’s profile, by clicking on their profile page,

  • Hello Annie (

That's an interesting question and to answer it we would need to know your husband's treatment history. As  said in his post above if you could update your husbands profile this would help. On your home page if you click on the chair icon (top right) and then "profile" and "edit" you can write something. Don't forget to click on "save" once you have done. (you can read my journey by clicking on my name or avatar).

The other fact to consider is with age we pick up more pains and aches and there can be a variety of causes for these.

    Best wishes - Brian.
