Testosterone question...

Hi all, I'm new here, so bear with me.

I was diagnosed back in June after a biopsy. Early stage, slow growing TF, however, my problem is that my testosterone levels are very low (0.4). This has happened naturally and was the reason for the initial discovery of a high PSA. I was extremely tired all the time, and had low mood and poor concentration. I thought "great, a few injections and I'll be right as rain". But oh no, the oncology team were delighted that its low as this will aid in the slow progress of my cancer.

My question is, has anyone else had this issue? Is there another to combat the fatigue and other issues? The doctors haven't been much help with this.

Thanks for reading.

  • Testosterone is the cancer fuel and not having any due to natural selection or HT (Hormone Therapy) is the initial way to put the cancer to sleep (as Millibob always describes it as).

I’ve been on HT for three years and have no testosterone.

Your treatment plan may involve testosterone in the future but you will only find out in time via your team in oncology.

    Good luck.
