Hi All, my husband is on triplet therapy which includes zoladex every 3 months. There seems to be some confusion in our GP surgery whether the injection should be every 12 weeks or 3 months. Does anyone know from experience? I’m assuming a couple of days wouldn’t make much difference but we obviously don’t want to drop the ball on this! Thanks
Hi Anna42 I was always concerned about the extra 3 days but I really don’t think it matters. Zoladex (10.8) is supplied as a 12 week drug and once your surgery read the information they will probably agree.
Best wishes, David

Hi Anna, my hubby was on 12 wks of Prostap and was told it was OK to have the injection 1 day either side if he couldn't have it on the actual day of the 12 wks, which happened on a few occasions, so saved us some anxiety. Now he's been changed to 4 weekly Zoladex. There's only 1 nurse at our surgery authorised to give it so he has to fit in with her duty roster and this month it'll be 5 days late. Nobody there seems concerned about it though.
