Hi, I have recently had radiotherapy on my Sacrum and Femur due to my bone cancer spreading a little bit. My cancer originates from prostate cancer.
I am getting a little bit of rectal bleeding when I pass a stool. But as they were short staffed in the unit they didn’t have time to explain everything to me, side effects etc. Only had the one treatment so was quite a big hit (as having chemo as well). Have read this is normal, but just need some reassurance really. Thank you all and never give up.
Hi Hman , I think you are correct that it probably isn’t anything to worry about, however, it is important to let your team know of ANY side effects. Do you have the number for your cancer nurse specialist? Failing that, contact radiotherapy. Please let us know how you get on. David
