Hello Everyone
Thank you for all the support you have given to our Community over the past 12 months. So we can keep the forum free for help and advice can we please try and use this thread for Christmas and New Year greetings and the "No Specific Topic" thread for general chit-chat.
On the matter of advice we give to Community members can we please not add either AI or Chat GPT generated advice to threads as we can't confirm these answers come from "trusted sources". Thanks.
On a personal note - that's me done with Hormone Therapy - 3 years completed so I assume I am technically "cancer free". I am on 6 monthly PSA tests for the next 5 years so I will be keeping an eye on things.
So Lorraine (Mrs Millibob) and I would like to wish everyone and their families on the Community a very Happy Christmas and our best wishes for 2025. We hope you all have a well deserved break and have a great holiday with family and friends.
During the Christmas and New year break there will be a normal service from me, however the Support Line will be on reduced hours.
Thanks again for your understanding and continued support.
Brian - Online Community Champion.
And to you mstev2
All the very best for the festive season, and although we are all sorry to find you here, and I am aware you have other family issues along with your own cancer you are an inspiration to us all with your unselfish help to other fellow Community members on their own personal journey. So it's a big THANK YOU from me.
Kind Regards - Brian.

Hi Brian and all the friends here,
Congratulations on finishing the HT, I know how much you hate it. Well done on completing the treatment. On a personal note, my Christmas wish is that Jacob will never finish the HT and continue this treatment on many years to come.
I would like to thank you for your wonderful support and everyone else on this site. You are all amazing! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and just keep being and enjoying life.
Lots of love
Dafna

Hello Liz & OH (johnam)
It's a strange thing this "bond" Prostate Cancer gives you with other folk but I am more than happy to help others who are where I was.
Have a great Christmas and may 2025 be everything you wish for - I hope you and your family enjoy the festivities.
Kind Regards - Brian.

I would like to add my congratulations to Brian (and Lorraine) on getting through the hormone treatment unscathed and taking on the challenge of being our Community Champion for the last year. I do a similar job for our local Mens Shed and "herding cats" is a phrase I use far too often!
I hope you all have a great Christmas and a Guid Ne'er. I'm still a few km short of my walking target for 2024 so will be quite busy over the next week or so.
