4 months after radical prostatectomy my wife and I are off to Tenerife for 8 days holiday. I'm still using 3 pads a day, albeit I'm hoping to get out and explore the island, so undoubtedly I'm going to leak more.
Rather than take a massive supply of pads with me I was wondering if anyone has any experience of buying pads on the island? Do the supermarkets and pharmacies on Tenerife stock pads? My experience of supermarkets in the UK is a bit hit and miss, so I wonder what it's like on an island off the African coast!
Thanks
Templebob I'd imagine if you went to a proper pharmacy , such as Boots (or whatever the Tenerife equivalent is). I'd definitely take at least a full pack with me.
Big supermarkets would definitely stock them, but finding one might be harder than you think.
It's over 35 years since I was in Tenerife. If you are successful it could be 'Tena'rife. Sorry I couldn't resist. I've always tried to keep my sense of humour.
Lookout for free coupons in the post. I had some for the 'Always Discreet' worth about £30. Kept a full pack in my backpack. If anyone pinched it they would have been in for a surprise!
Hope someone can help you a bit more.

I'm in Tenerife next month.
I think the main supermarkets will be able to help you. Mercadona have stores in Adeje and Las Americas.

My daughter is disabled, and is incontinent of urine. We have been to the Canaries, and needed to buy some pads , as we were running out. We did buy some at a pharmacy, and yes, they were female, but, I did see male pads for sale too.
I packed four pads a day for the time we were on holiday, but, we needed extra. I packed them before we went into a holdall, and put a note on it stating " medical supplies", and checked them in at the airport with our suitcases. You should not have a problem.
Have a great time.
