I had RP this morning 04/01, I expect some pain and discomfort from the site of where they make incisions and where they put catheter in, but I am in agony as if my bladder is about to burst, like as if you desperate for a wee and had to wait hours (type pain) they did an ultrasound on my bladder and found no blockage...
Has anyone had a similar experience, I'm so worried and in such pain.
Thank you..
Hello MC64 Welcome to the online Community - I have just noticed your post.
I assume you have been discharged to home with a catheter - my advice to you is if the pain is unbearable to contact the team at the hospital or if they are unavailable at this time of night I would contact 111. I would advise A & E but there's a Doctor's strike and the first two options appear to be the best route.
Keep us posted please as to how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.
