husbands scan was clear for lymph nodes but still has to get bo e scan but consultant said he confident bone scan will be clear as he knows how it works?

  • Hi worriedwife, have you tried “Insurancewith” for travel insurance? I went away 5 times last year and never payed more than £65 for family of four including myself. I have just booked 3 days in France and cost me £25 to insure my son and myself x

  • Hi paul . Just read your story & have no words ; but as X marine you can take on anything mate ! I had similiar thing with my back last easter ( virtually better now ) my psa is pretty low , but unfortunately mri scan has shown a small 5mm suspicious lesion ( awaiting biopsy ) it seems sadly the men without symptoms often get worst news on here .  All the best mate & wishing you good living

  • Hi to Paul and others I was advised to have a general anaesthetic, for the biopsy  but changed my mind and had a local instead,  advice to others have a general if possible that's all I am saying,  had bone scan last week awaiting results, then treatment advice, 4 weeks of radio therapy seems a bit daunting, but will trust advice

  • Hi blue, good to hear your PSA is low and hope for good news from the biopsy. Yeah, since diagnosis I’ve spoke to many others who had no symptoms but had an aggressive cancer. Take care mate

    Regards

  • Do you get a choice?

  • I certainly didn’t but got told later it was much quicker to go without a general as appointment wait times were 2-3wks instead I waited 4 days
