This is for anyone who can't keep on the topic. It's hard not to stray, but if we have 'no specific topic ' we can't go off topic.
It is good just to be able to wander and talk about other things.
I could have named it 'Waffle'. Then I couldn't go off topic.
Safe journey home! Enjoy the last few days! I always though Turkey was cold in the winter?
Janet
Hello Janet (Worriedwife)
It's such a large country, cold in the north and east, warm in the south and west at this time of year. We are just outside Oludeniz in a town called Ovacick in the South West of Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea (That's the local beach on my avatar). It will be cold tonight 10C but it never freezes in winter.
Kind Regards - Brian.

I’ve got my shorts on today just heading to healthy options boxing time with this cancer time to bulk up
WW, I once went to Istanbul in November, one day it was sunny and warm, the next, snow and freezing temperatures.
Had to go to the local market for gloves and hats.
We were on a coach tour with a load of Aussies, every morning it was "G'Day Pommies"
A great trip.

Sorry, I shouldn't, but I have been laughing so much at that picture in my head of finally getting down to a towel!!
WW, I remember when I was growing up we always had cold Turkey on Boxing Day.
