I have had extreme fatigue over several months however over the last week it got worse. On checking my oxygen levels I found that after short exercise the level dropped to 83° from my normal level of 96°.
Has anyone had anything similar?
I am not due to see my nurse until January for my next injection
Regards,
Stuart
This happened to my husband, but he was already in hospital at the time. You need to contact your specialist nurse as you need your oxygen level above 90 at least. You may also have a low blood count. Make sure you take some deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth, then check your levels again. Definitely don’t wait until January.
There could be 100 different reasons for this, 99% of them nothing to do with PCa.
I assume your 'next injection' is HT, which would certainly explain the fatigue (that's the 1%!). But not necessarily the oxygen drop.
But any breathing problem should be checked out. Contact your GP.
