    had an up blip recently after last chemo to 1.8. My oncology team said below 3.0 they don't worry about it. Good luck

  • .2, i wouldn't be too worried but what r the two previous PSA reults?

  • 3 consecutive PSA results at 0.2 or above after radical prostatectomy is defined as biochemical recurrence. What to do next will depend on PSA doubling time. I think you need to see an oncologist to get things moving. Hopefully the PSA doubling time is long as that tends to indicate recurrence on the prostate bed rather than distant issues.

  • PSA is an unreliable and misleading test;

    One PSA result is virtually meaningless, though it can be an indicator that further investigation is required.

    PSA change can often suggest that change is happening (positive or negative). So at least 2 tests, several weeks apart.

    The Rate of PSA change can be very useful in confirming trends. At least 3 tests, over months.
